Website Help

I am learning how to put together this website. I am new at it and have much to learn. If you have experience with codes and stuff please let me know. I have found a few things I want to integrate to this site, but there is so much I dont know. I have been reading up and studying how to write codes, installed tons of programs and getting nowhere fast. The biggest thing I am trying to do is link some of the websites we use the most to update on our page ie; raid progression and gear scores. I have seen guild sites with some of this, so I know it can be done. Please if you know anything about this please tell me. I am not going to push this off on anyone, just want to learn how to do it. Thanks.

Hello Visitor, welcome to the GD Associates website! GD Associates is a guild of dedicated WOW players. We are looking for new members all the time; so if you love WOW, and want to have fun and hang out with other people that do as well, then feel free to register and introduce yourself in the forums.

Guild Rules

- We are a raiding Guild. If you want to run a raid or dungeon, put it in calander. Raids that are sceduled, run a lot better than ones put together in chat. Lots of people need different raids. Please dont just run raids you need. Help other people out. We get no where unless the whole raid is geared. VENT IS REQUIRED FOR RAIDS!!!! No exeptions. If you cant talk in vent, that is okay, as long as you can hear whats going on. Again VENT IS REQUIRED!!! No Vent, No Raid!!! If you refuse to get vent, you may stay in the guild, but you will not be able to raid with us.

- New loot rules for raid will be set after the Expansion. This will be based on whats best for the guild not the individual player. Everyone believes they deserve the loot/upgrades. It does not help us if only one person has all epics and the rest of the raid is in greens and blues. With that said, dont expect to walk into the guild and start rolling on gear. There are people that work hard here to make things happen. More to come.....

-When raiding there are a couple more requirements. Omen or equivalent, Deadly Boss mods or equivalent, and any other addons for your specific class ie; Healers= healbot, pallys= pally power.
When a raid is set up and you sign up for it, be ready for it. This means POTs, Elixers, Food buffs, Weapon coatings, and ensure you repair yourself before you come. When a raid is scheduled, that is when we should be walking into it not getting ready for it. If you are not ready dont be upset if you are replaced for someone that is ready and did not sign up.

- Now for the guild. If you leave/kicked from the guild 3 times, you are not welcome back. Only Officers will be able to decide if you are kicked. This should be decided by no less than 3 Officers. New guild members, if you have a problem with people in the guild bring it up, dont just leave. That is just silly plus one strike. One person does not equal the guild. Sometimes things are uncontrollable. Dont take it personally. There is no reason to fight over things. We are all here to have fun and play a game. People sometimes make mistakes in the game, dont jump to conclusions. There are a couple people that are not allowed back in our guild. They are not bad people, they just cause to many problems for the guild. I am not going to post names unless that list grows above my memory.

-For the Guild bank. As many of you have noticed, I dont allow repairs and withdrawls of money (even myself). I thank you all that do deposit money to the guild bank! Hopefully with the Expansion, they will add more tabs. If that is the case, we will buy them with the money. If not, thats okay. When we have a suffecient amount of gold in the bank, we will start holding a lottery for people to get their mounts. You will only qualify for this if you deposit money. If you all dont know by now, I personally dont except donations for my personal needs. That means I will be in the pool with everyone else.

- I never expected this Guild to get as big as it has. I want to thanks everyone that has made it happen so I have to create this website. I enjoy playing this game with all of you and I hope you all feel the same. Hopefully we can all get to know each other better with this website. We have learned that we underestimate ourselves when it comes to raiding. We did not try a lot of things because we thought we were under geared based on what other people have said or website we have looked at. When we do get together as a Guild, we make things happen. I am impressed. I have learned that there is no reason not at least trying something.

-Thank you all for your support in this Guild. I believe we are one of the best ones out there. We have had our problems, but that has just made us stronger. It is surreal to me that a bunch of people from different parts of the world, different ages, and genders could get together and kick ass! All without really knowing each other. Thanks agian and lets move forward.
